In this sequel to Trauma Center: Under the Knife, players assume the role of a surgeon who must perform an operation in each chapter in order to advance in the game. Players are presented with a variety of medical cases that require different surgical procedures and treatments. Surgical tools such as needles, scalpels, and forceps are available to players while performing operations.
